NACL provides a range of services based on the personal goals and needs expressed by people with developmental disabilities. Services promote and support the inclusion of people in all aspects of community life. The success of all services is measured through outcome based performance measures, individual support agreements and an individualized life planning process. Provisional Services may be offered to individuals who are on the waiting list that include a wide variety of small group and individual learning activities which have been created in response to needs and desires identified by people requesting services. Provisional Services are self-selected, short term in nature (i.e. less than one year) and focus on the growth and development of the individual in achieving personal outcomes. It is based on the assumption that many people will benefit from Provisional Services and may not require or will require lesser levels of Primary Services in the future. Primary Services include the provision of lifestyle, career or an alternate type of service (or any combination thereof) which is provided for one year or longer in a manner determined by the person requesting such service. Within the framework of Primary Services, there is a full range of services available. The distinguishing feature of Primary Services is that it is longer term in nature.
