CONTACT Haldimand-Norfolk is the agency that serves as the single point of access to services for people with a developmental disability in the Norfolk area. 

It is the responsibility of CONTACT to:

• Provide coordinated information about services in this area that are available to support people with developmental disabilities;

• Document information accurately and fully in their role as the common intake provider;

• Provide referrals for service to local service providers in keeping with the needs of the person and the appropriate resources available;

• Oversee case resolution to help with complex, unique and urgent needs;

• Update referrals if needs change.

Through a committee of local service providers and other resources, trends and gaps in service are identified and individual cases are reviewed and prioritized.
